lds film festival seeks entries
Entries are now being accepted for the 2015 LDS Film Festival

The LDS Film Festival is now accepting entries for its 14th annual competition. The Film Festival will run March 4-7, 2015 at the Scera Center for the Arts in Orem, Utah.  The deadline for submissions is December 15, with an extended entry deadline on January 12.

The Festival offers a total $3000 in cash awards for the feature-length, short film, family film, and other categories. There is also a contest for designing a trailer for the film festival with a prize of $300.

The motto for the film festival is taken from Doctrine and Covenants 93:36:  “The glory of God is intelligence, in other words, light and truth.”  The Festival seeks “intelligent films and stories that deal with spirituality in a universal way.”

Visit the LDS Film Festival website for more information about contest rules and other details.
