Mormon Family Gets Millions of Hits for ‘Frozen’ Lip-Dub Video

The Bagley family, who call Utah their home and are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is receiving a lot of attention for a video cover they created of the song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from Disney’s Frozen. The video re-creates the popular scene from the movie where the younger sister, Anna, begs her older sister to come and play with her.

Since the lip-dub was published back in March of this year, the video has received more than 49.3 million views.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that the film’s creator, Robbie Bagley, asked for the help of his two younger sisters (Mia and Arianna) to play the role of Anna as a child and as a teenager. The cool thing about this particular Frozen lip-dub is that it only cost a total of $5.49, according to the SL Tribune. Those $5 covered the cost of the contact paper used to decorate the door.

The Tribune reported that the costumes were made from fabric around the Bagley home, the whole video was filmed on a borrowed DSLR camera, and the mic used came from the “Rock Band” video game.
