Public Invited to Join #Fairness4All Discussion at BYU Religious Freedom Conference

Brigham Young University is hosting a religious freedom conference next week and the public is invited to attend.

The “Religious Freedom Annual Review: Fairness for All” conference aims to discuss religious freedom and how to ensure fairness for all people. Trends in culture and politics, religious issues in public schools and using social media to promote religious freedom are some of the topics that will be discussed in various workshops during the conference, according to BYU News.

Keynote speakers include the following individuals:

  • Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert
  • Utah Senator J. Stuart Adams
  • W. Cole Durham, Jr., BYU J. Reuben Clark Law School
  • Robin Fretwell Wilson, University of Illinois College of Law
  • William F. Atkin, Associate General Counsel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint

The three-day conference will take place Monday, July 6 – Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the BYU Conference Center. Each day, the conference will commence at 8:30 a.m. and finish at 5:30 p.m.

Individuals who wish to attend the conference can register to attend through the close of the conference. Pricing, which includes lunch and daily snacks, are as follows:

  • General Public One Day: $39
  • General Public Full Registration: $99
  • CLE Credit One DAy: $69
  • CLE Credit Full Registration (18 credits available): $199
  • Current J. Reuben Clark Law School Students: Free, Courtesy of BYU
  • All Other Students One Day: $25
  • All Other Students Full Registration: $69
