All Your Family Home Evening Refreshment Problems Solved!

Reese's PB Cup Oreos

The problem with FHE (Mormon-ese for Family Home Evening) is that it comes around every single Monday night, and parents must come up with new ideas for a lesson, activity, and treat 52 times a year. Well, the treat challenge may be solved, at least temporarily, since the kids will want this same treat every week as long as availability lasts.

A Partnership Made in Heaven

Introducing Oreo’s newest experiment in alternative flavors. These experiments have not always been successful. We just received some  berry-pink-artificial-something-middles Oreos from our disgruntled kids who thought their dad would eat anything (he did eat them).

But this time, Oreo got it right. The new limited-edition cookie will have a Reese’s™ Peanut Butter Cup center. “The cookies feature half chocolate and half peanut butter flavored creme with the classic chocolate cookie exterior. The cookie-candy hybrid is launching nationwide on June 9 and will only be available while supplies last.”

Forget everything that’s wrong in the world.  It suddenly just got better.

The new flavor of Oreos will be on the shelves until they sell out. If I buy 2,000 boxes, what’s the best way to keep them fresh, I wonder, and where do I get in line?
