The Millennial Star reported that this morning a new website launched called DiscussingMarriage.org. The new website has a lofty goal of bringing civility back to the marriage debate. They plan to do this by clearly explaining the benefits of limiting marriage to a man-woman relationship. The idea is that once people know how to properly defend traditional marriage, the name calling arguments can end and the debate can begin. On the website it reads,

There are new and compelling arguments for why man-woman marriage is good public policy, but they are not well known. Our hope is at this website will help bring these arguments to light, and provide people with the resources to understand them.

The purpose of this site is also to inject humility into the conversation on both sides of the issue. Reasoned, measured, and respectful dialogue is possible with regards to marriage.

Each of the articles on the site includes a short video to illustrate and explain the ideas they are presenting. Overall the site looks very prepared to deal with opposing views and appears to be a great starting point for people interested in joining the marriage conversation.
