Luis Rojas, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, explains in an “I’m a Mormon” video how he stands tall with God.
Rojas was born with achondroplasia, a cause of dwarfism, but refuses to allow his condition to dictate his life. In the video, Rojas explains that he encountered some problems growing up, including mocking from his peers.
When Rojas served a two year mission for the Church, he said he learned to love people through serving them. “I believe I came a little bit closer to having the great love that Jesus Christ has for me,” Rojas explained.
While on his mission, Rojas’ entire outlook on life changed. “I honestly didn’t care about my size because I was just another missionary serving. To God, we are all equal!”
