The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the groundbreaking of the Cedar City Utah Temple, which will be held on August 8, 2015.
The groundbreaking will be held privately, by invitation only. However, the groundbreaking services will be transmitted to stake centers within the temple district.
The temple will be located at 300 South Cove Dr. in Cedar City, Utah.
This groundbreaking announcement comes two years after President Thomas S. Monson announced the building of the Cedar City Utah Temple in April 2013 General Conference.
