How to Find Cousins for Temple Work

1754

A new feature has been added to FamilySearch called “descendancy view,”  which allows users to access and see not only who they’re related to, but how they can see if their family member’s temple work needs to be done, if it already has been done, or to send it to a temple to have it completed.

In the video above, users can follow step by step instructions and see firsthand how the process can be completed. The video is clear, simple, and easy to understand, making the search for distant cousins easier than ever.

If you would prefer writing out the information you find, be sure to check out the My Family: Stories That Bring Us Together booklet, which can be found at familysearch.org.
