The Tijuana Mexico Temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will open its doors for public tours starting Friday, November 13, 2015.

The open house will continue through Saturday, November 28. The tours are scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Mondays, and from 9 a.m. until 8p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Tours will not take place on Sundays.

Mormon Newsroom reports that the Tijuana temple is the 13th temple of the Church built in Mexico. Following a cultural celebration on December 12, the Church will dedicate the temple on Sunday, December 13 in three sessions.

The Tijuana Mexico Temple will serve 45,000 saints living in Tijuana, Rosarito, Tecate, Mexicali, Ensenada, San Luis Rio Colorado, San Quintín, San Felipe and Guerrero Negro.

The temple’s construction follows a hacienda architectural style found in many local designs, as pictured below.

Messages of Christ posted a video to its YouTube channel, shared above, that gives an inside look into the Tijuana Mexico Temple.
