#DearDad Campaign Launches for Father’s Day

2421

“Dear Dad,” a social media campaign honoring fathers and father-figures alike, was launched today and will go through Father’s Day.

The purpose of the “Dear Dad” campaign is to encourage people everywhere to honor their fathers by expressing appreciation through a written letter.

With Father’s Day quickly approaching, people are looking for ways they can show appreciation to their dads and grandfathers. Since most dads and grandpas aren’t active social media users, writing a letter is a great way to express gratitude on a personal level. Sharing that you wrote a letter on your social media accounts will influence others to do the same and will create a snowball effect of gratitude.

To participate in #DearDad:

  • Write a letter to your dad and post a picture with the envelope to your social media accounts on Father’s Day
  • Use the hashtag #DearDad
  • Post a video to your social media accounts expressing your appreciation for your dad
