Recently, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have released videos for Easter and Christmas that share the light and love of Christ. Their most recent video, “Because He Lives,” has reached millions of viewers all over the world.

This year’s Easter video surpassed last year’s Easter video by five times the number of viewers. “Because He Lives” averaged more than 3.2 million views each day, making the total number of views nearly 30 million, according to Mormon Newsroom. On Easter day alone, 329 million people viewed the video. This year’s initiative saw incredible success when compared to last year’s Christmas video, “He is the Gift,” which averaged only 930,000 views per day and the 2014 Easter video, “Because of Him,” which averaged 598,000 views per day.

In addition to seeing a high success with the video, Mormon Newsroom reports HeLives.Mormon.org had more than two million visitors between March 27 and April 5, 2015.

“Because He Lives” was available in 21 different languages and had a wider non-English audience than English. The most-viewed versions are as follows:

  1. Spanish: 14.8 million
  2. Portuguese: 6.8 million
  3. English: 6.5 million
  4. Japanese: 766,000
  5. Italian: 670,000
