Have to wait until next Monday since speculators raise futures about 4.00 dollars. I don't expect it to hold and fall faster in December since we are in a depression and people will not be buying much for the holidays and expected travel will be further drop compared to the last five years.

Please realize that while price per barrel does eventually reflect in the price at the pump it is not an immediate effect. It can take months for oil purchased at $50 a barrel to arrive at the gas pump. I believe we will continue to see a drop at the pump based on price per barrel and also based on current demand. Good for all unless you are an oil trader.

Not disagree based on true principles of the future market but that is not case anymore. It is done in matter of days. More like the daily gold market approach.

I would say that is true on the uptick of oil futures, increase is passed on quickly. I would say that on the downside it does not travel as quickly or as deeply.

I wish my gas was down to $1.60 or less per gallon. Here in Maryland I am paying $2.24 per gallon for mid-grade at the pumps and even that price fluctuates depending on what station I buy my gas at. Personally, I hope that the prices continue to fall, but realisticly, I see gas prices possibly on the rise once 20 January has come and gone. It really is all a gamble at this point I think. Just my opinion.

He is my Rock, my Lord, my Savior, the Pilot of my ship and the Captain of my soul. If He were to ask me, "Whom say ye that I am?" I would humbly reply, THOU ART THE CHRIST!

I'm in agreement with you Keith on the gas prices rising once again after the swear in ceremony.
