I have two questions when it comes to Paul describing the apostasy and perilous times of the last days. In verse 5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. And in verse 6-7 it says for of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of truth.

How do you describe a person having a form of Godliness and what kind of women are captive silly women laden with sins?

having a form of godliness as i understand it is standing in a place as a representative as god in some way or another and then denying some or all of the works and/or powers of what God can and does do through his servants. an example would be like saying you're an authorized person to do God's will yet at the same time saying things like "there are no more prophets" or "there is no more, and will be no more, scripture". Another good example is one of the popular marriage terms "till death do you part" in which something is only bound in earth but not in heaven.

as for the lead away women just take a look throughout history how women have been used and abused... especially in today's popular media environment.

as for the the knowledge bit, a good example would be today's academic environment.
