Bishop Gérald Caussé will serve as the new presiding bishop. Dean M. Davies and W. Christopher Waddell will serve as the first and second counselors respectively, according to the LDS Church. I'm a convert, so I ask in sheer ignorance, nothing else The Seventies support the 12 in the mission to proclaim the gospel to all the World (in a way the more spiritual aspects of the church) The Presiding Bishopric handles the buildings and finances etc... Think "logistics" -- moving food and supplies from one place to another. Bishop Caussé received a master’s degree in business from ESSEC in 1987. His career has been in the food industry, where he worked with several supermarket chains and food distribution companies. One of the primary functions of the Presiding Bishop is to oversee the welfare programs of the Church including the Bishop's Storehouse and welfare farms.
