Well I have never been diagnosed ( I can't afford to) and back in the day, (I am 52 years old) unless you were non verbal and stimmed a lot, you were not autistic. In my world, if you were shy and had social troubles, you were out of luck. Targets for bullies and all sorts of abuses, just like today, but not much help out there. Who am I kidding, not too much has changed, but at least some are getting the help and support they need, especially from parents. I have suspected that have it for several years now. I have some of the "symptoms". Super acute hearing,difficulty in having relationships, obsessions of specific studies or subjects, taking things too literally, having meltdowns when under too much pressure, and not showing emotion at proper times. I know there is a tie in with OCD, ADD, ADHD, as well as Tourettes, specifically, many times one can have more than one "disorder" and I use that term loosely. Honestly, I have taken many online tests that state that I most likely have Aspergers. All I know is that I have never actually been on a real date that I can think of, and that I am much better off when I am by myself. Large crowds of people seriously stress me out. So, formally diagnosed, no, but the tests say yes, most definitely.

*Raises Hand* Saw it. Loved it. Our signal was out at the branch meetinghouse, so after some finger food we all went over to a member's house to watch it on their big screen. I am glad I chose not to stay at home and watch it alone. Pres. Uchtdorf cracks me up. (His cooking skills vs. Mrs. Uchtdorf's) I left the house feeling almost buoyant with self worth and grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

When my son was about 3 or so, he looked out the living room window and exclaimed "Oh LOOK someone's turned the moon on!" Guess he figured lights have switches...... Made me chuckle.

My new calling has me in charge of this each Sunday. I can’t seem to find any black and white (or color) pictures of things like sacrament trays, missionaries, and scripture references with little pictures near them that relate to it, etc. I know they make them, because the person who had this calling a few years back used them on the samples of the old programs I was given for ideas. I have gone to Deseret and other sites and even the ldscatalog.com but do not know where to find them. I have been using the Heritage Collection ones, which have the preprinted pictures of Joseph Smith or the Savior and others, but I want the clip art for back up and special days. If I can’t find a disc (s) in our branch library, I will gladly pay for a reasonably priced one, if it has what I need. I have checked out the sites on the previous thread but they are old and don't have very much in what I am looking for. Can someone help me please.

Hi all, Have been around this site for around 10 years or so. I got a new makeover since I stayed away so long my old nic, Sunny, was not available or something. Any way I am back again, no longer in California, moved to the Mid-South, and have become fully active again in a small branch in Arkansas. (yes there are saints in the Natural State.)
