  1. well, the utah mormons that come to texas because of employment act like we have cooties and aren't good enough. i tend to hang out with the texas converts because if we slip and cuss nobody faints. edit; and the women all have the same weird hair cut. pooffy on the top and supershort in the back. with weird highlights.
  2. as a high school teacher i would also instruct your daughter not to be a target. in other words do not her put belongings down or leave them where others can get to them. be self contained. do not give the bullies opportunity. im my school i warn the girls not to put their purse down and if their purse gets stolen no sympathy from me - they were warned. there are no victims, only volunteers.
  3. wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to move into a neighborhood with good public schools?
  4. from a woman's point of view... someone is feeding her mind with foulness. now, look at it - she is facing bankruptcy and a man who can't support her. how can you support her? what guarantees does she need that you can keep a roof over her and her kid's head? because right now you are a sinking ship and she needs to get into the lifeboat. are you are dreamer? are you? why should she stay? if you agreed to get a 9 to 5 job, would this help? you can entrepeneur at night. she has a part in this. she didn't get to know you very well and she either didn't listen or you didn't go to premarital counseling, did you?
  5. also just think of the logistics of wearing white , getting wet and on your period. i won't go to the temple at all when on my period.
  6. my bs meters are going off, first of all your 12 step sponsor would be advising you to not make any major changes for 1 year, which he wold be telling you to not sign up for the army. second, your addiction will follow you into the army. now, are you going to 90 meetings in 90 days and working the steps? because if you were we would not be having this conversation. by the way the churches addiction recovery program sucks, poor success rate, i would avoid it and go straight to AA. they know what they are doing. recovering addict of 18 years kicks you in the butt, hard.
  7. it's been two years since the divorce. the deep grief stage was the hardest. but then the stages kept going on. then came the pathetic stage, then the incredibly selfish stage, and now I am in the repair stage. literally fixing everything broken in me and the house.
  8. i went last summer. limited time, i could have spent days watching and pushing all the buttons of the displays and watching all the videos in the visitors center. unfortunately my friends had all been so they were bored. i have to say i was unimpressd with the inside of the salt lake temple. well, i hate victoriana, and it was, uh, very victorian. the castle/cathedral like exterior of the temple did not match the interior. claustrophobic seating as well. too difficult to do all the temple stuff in those tiny horrible awful cramped seats, packed in like sardines. i walked away, saying, never again...

sex addicts anonymous (SAA) for him codependents of sex addicts (CoSA) for you now
  10. phd programs are highly political. it would be wise to hang in the bedroom for the time being and not jeopardize the whole phd thang...
  11. i post on a lot of forums. on one in particular, there are a lot of uneducated, broke, poor moms who "ain't got no teef", and no resources, and no education, who "don't know nothin'" who home school their kids. scary.
  12. when my husband was active in his sex addiction, after i checked him into the "meadows" i saw three heads (didn't notice the bodies) standing near the computer. they were looking at me they were definitely the evil ones. i am 46 and quite sane.
  13. stop talking about it with them. smile sweetly and go about your business.
