  1. The Provo temple. That's where I was endowed and married.
  2. I actually read Twilight in high school, before the hype, and didn't like it. I tried it again after it got super popular, and still didn't like it!
  3. For what it's worth, JThimm88, I have a similar problem. I'd love a silky, cute nightgown that covers my garments. Obviously since I'm in the privacy of my own home, it wouldn't matter if I wore a spaghetti strap nightgown, but I just don't think it's attractive to see the garments sticking out! I did a lot of searching before I got married and found nothing. So, I don't have answers for you, just sympathy.
  4. That made me bawl! My dad was in the Air Force, and I remember him coming home one time when I was five and I cried because I was so happy to see him.
  5. Catholicism has always interested me. My parents converted to the church when I was three so if they hadn't, I probably would've been raised Catholic. However, if suddenly the church was "proved false" or I stopped believing, I don't think I could go to any other church.
  6. I don't believe in any of the "ancient aliens" theories, but I do find them interesting. Anyone see that guy's wild hair on that show?
  7. I did proxy sealings a few weeks ago and the sealer happened to mention that "the new and everlasting covenant" refers to the fullness of the gospel.
  8. It's hard to understand why the teacher was so offended by a child's drawing!
  9. I can’t remember who said “It’s not about the game, it’s about how you treat people” but I was like, uh... seriously? This isn’t the “be sweet and nice and as saint-like as possible” game. It’s outwit, outplay, outlast. And while Rupert was quick to label Russell as a horrible, disgusting human being, he sure was happy to align with him when it worked in his favor! Like always, the jury was bitter and couldn’t get over their grudges, and just voted for whoever offended them the least. Sandra didn’t deserve to win. She wasn’t completely useless, but her gameplay was nowhere near as strong as Russell’s and Parvati’s.
  10. I do find it a bit silly when people get bent out of shape over minor grammar errors. Especially when someone replies to a post/comment just to point our the mistake.
  11. The thing about Parvati is that she's just as ruthless, arrogant, and scheming as Russell, but she puts on this little-miss-charming act and everyone forgets about it. Regardless of whether you like or dislike Russell, he does seem to have a knack for getting people to vote the way he wants...
  12. I can't believe I'm saying this, having been a Survivor fan for years, but I've had a hard time getting into this season. I watch it every Thursday, but I don't feel that excited about it. Maybe because I've seen all these people play before. I'm just looking forward to seeing the next season's location.
  13. I'm lucky enough to live ten minutes away from a temple, and I go often - usually twice a month. Nothing gives me quite the same sense of peace and fulfillment.
  14. You know if someone tried to make a comedic musical of another religion - Judaism, Islam, whatever - there would be outrage over how "intolerant" and "insensitive" it is. But my general reaction is "eh." It's always frustrating to see these things, but the work will go forth.
