  1. When will the Church bring back LDS sponsored education K-12? The Church use to do schooling, not sure when "we" migrated away from it and into public schools. I guess thats where Seminary came from? I'm so sick of public schools, my wife and I are not in the position to do home schooling nor private schooling. Every other Christian faith has their schools, why can't we?
  2. I like the Brandon Mull series "Fablehaven" and his new one "Beyonders". Its a bit juvenile, but fun and I like to read what my kids read as well. I love Harry Potter, the movies are not the books.
  3. Ok, this is going to happen. My office is in Duluth like I mentioned. I will first be living with a friend in Lawrenceville. So my quesiton is which is a better area to look for permenant house for my family. My wife and I and our 5 kids Boys ages 14, 11 Girls ages 8, 5, 3 We want GREAT SCHOOLS and safe areas to live with good wards. My wife likes what she hears about Roswell. Lawrenceville Buford Sugar Hill Suwanee Roswell Duluth Alpharetta Big Creek or further out? Thanks
  4. Thank You to everybody. As I know more I will ask more questions. I really appreciate it.
  5. I am 99% sure that I will be moving to georgia with my family for a new job. I live in Utah currently, so this is a big move. The office will be out of Duluth. I've heard Duluth is not a great place to live, so where do we live that has the following. Great Schools (5 Kids - ages 14, 11, 8, 5, 3) Great Community (safe) Strong LDS faithful close Commute time isn't too long (45 min or less) anything else I'm not thinking of? Please help. I've lived in Utah all my life, this move scares me, but If we can find the right area we will be fine.
  6. Hey there all. I'm new and probably won't be on much. I'm really trying to find anybody who may have served with my father on his mission. He served in the Navajo mission, I don't know its official mission name. It was sometime between 68 and 71 or 72.....he never spoke much of his mission, he has passed and I am very interested in more of his mission. Anyway, this was in the Four corners area and his mission president was "Tingey"....I don't know a first name and not sure if it is the same Earl C. Tingey or not. Anyway.....I'll be searching for anybody who may have known him or served with him.....Thank You.
