I think you should research a bit more about what marines do :) Two of my best guy friends joined the marines and wanted to take a leave and serve a mission, they were denied. I suggest doing your mission and then signing up.

Well, i'm planning on going to BYU-I. And I was thinking there may be no point..then again My yw told me about her roommates and some things they were doing.....and I'd rather avoid that.

Its going to be super cold here. So Popsicle would be out. And i despise Hot dogs :) ice cream sounds good though....although..whats so summery about popsicles and not about ice cream. hmm

So, I'm having a after-Christmas-but-before-new-years-eve-party. I have the activities planned- glow in the dark volleyball, charades, karaoke, spoons ect. And, I'm having it at the church, in the gym. We have access to the kitchen as well. I'm inviting 35 people. (also, I was just going to have my mother their..do you think other supervision is needed? I trust each of these individuals..and theres a nice mix of quiet band people in with some loud drama kids..) What kind of food could i have? I don't want anything too celebrate, costly or anything that needs tons of time to eat..I also don't want to have to sit to eat this food..(there will be tables and such..but not for eating.) Pizza gets expensive... any ideas? and some kind of dessert too...

I think it would be fun to have a lil inexpensive gift go around...like a diet coke one day to her the next you get a cute nail filing board.hmmm..maybe i'll do this with my friends haha. . Anyway, for her I think anything her and her child can do together would be cute. Not sure how old the kid is but you could make a puzzle out of cardstock paper color it and have it say Thank You, your the best! or, get her a new nail polish or mascara, a small treat for herself
