  1. Do you believe G-d defined the Laws of Physics? | Do you believe G-d used the Laws of Physics to create the universe? | Do you believe G-d used principles other than the laws of Physics (specifically supernatural or contrary to the laws of physics principles that he keeps hidden or secret from mankind) in creating the universe? | Do you believe that life in the universe is abundant or scarce? | Do you believe that life throughout the universe to be competitive, predatory, and parasitic? --- The Father defines absolute truth; for all eternities: that for which exists before the moment of what is, the paradoxical other, from absolute elsewhere--the Great I AM. Therewith Creation is begotten of Him. Thereby He lives at a higher energy condition. It is no agreement or practice of tradition that these were, are, or will become made manifest to us. He alone creates and comprehends the states of that for which has always extended from within. These inceptions lack exception, albeit having exceptional traits. Therefor the demarcation of any Law (inferring that which is ultimate) is set apart before all Creation. The ideas mankind employs and validates as correct or incorrect are broadly and cyclically weighted by great variance in quality and quantity having a state of flux with bias in the context of many traditions chosen or disregarded. In contrast, paradoxically, all of Creation is sealed, encompassed, constrained, and bound in redux: above, below, beyond, and within spaces; occupied for preservation. Inasmuch, the principles we understand are the ultimate working contradiction: at the end of the night, where one will see death, new life streams without strife, in His sight our lives still thrive in old light. The angels themselves are not cognizant of all of G-d's mysteries. Before all Creation, He was. Matter itself is of God, by His will it is. Nothing exists for Him as relative, for only after Him does anything experience dissolution. That is to say He does and can both create and destroy energy, or the potential to do work. For His will, only a single angel shares the power to destroy it, constrained by the purpose for which that was gifted. Before God, there was nothing, literally. With Him, there is no true paradox, for in His "progression", He is the only true singularity. In isolation, for eternities upon eternities, the Father created what can be considered the first order of Creation, the angels. (Their appearance is foreign to man. Although can also make themselves known to them, so as to be seen with pleasing and familiar brilliance.) People will argue over the first of these, even lacking the slightest reference thereof--such debates are for naught. Like His perfection, so they were, yet given variant limitation and excellence. In other words, while knowing most things, He chose to withhold absolute knowledge. With God, in the heaven of the heavens, His angels walked; for eternities upon eternities. There was nothing man did make or will make that the angels had not already experienced long before. In the progression of their walk, the question of life outside their ranks arose. Among the many in discussion, a quartet was chosen to present this question before the Father. Rather than answering directly, He charged the findings upon their own discovery, to seek out for themselves that for which they sought. Their search took them many eternities; to the expanses in all spaces; in no part of the unimaginable length of their journey did they meet others. Upon their return, He answered directly, "For as you now know by experience, it is as you find, no other Creation aside from your own sits before me." It was after this time that He allowed angels themselves to progenitive, that is to say fill the spaces. The results thereof were not reproductive, neither has there been life intended for the sole purpose of what man considers harmful or without purpose. As it were, He knew this Creation, its greatness, and the life that followed was to be the penultimate; in their comfort, only knew perfection. Therefore, absent the Holy Ghost, none had known pleasure from pain: to forget a walk with perfection; to know from experience that which is good from that which is wicked to that which is evil; to concede to hate, fear, and lies when asked to trade one hand for the other; to find need of furthering faith by exercising it; to know confidence in G-d by the threat of being slain for calling on His name; to feel remorse when falling short; to grasp the elation of knowing just how strong the Father's love is when He calls out from the grave; to be in His arms once more. The Father was not yet full in His heart, for although angels were immortal and without blemish, they were this way from their beginning. Desiring to fulfill this void, He began to call the angels before Him, in what people sometimes call the Great or Grand Council in Heaven. With their consent, they would form man, to be given the charges of calling the mortal from the mud, serving this new Creation, and experiencing the mortal. Although doctrine speaks of this in some detail, there is disparity between the way it is understood and actually is, which is only to say there will be a day where that which is hidden will again see--free of what must be kept away. ><><><>< Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly. The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the Lord, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right. But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.'' Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come. Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins. They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine. Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city: Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place. Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ***.
  2. Man rides, but God holds the reins. One is wholly indivisible, requisitely so. The key performance indicator, concerning individual worth, it was never intended to be diversity. In fact, as you understand it [correctly], it is unity, which ultimately is Hope, Faith, and Charity; the greatest of which is Charity, a pure love. This form is not an ideal, it is real; for it is to know the Father and the Son. My paint is laid upon a narrow gate; it cannot rest upon the wide gate led by a broad road. The lacquer is mixed by the Son of an Artist; Ζωγράφου. Adding to what is oft said concerning diversity, heaven would be dull if everyone were to be the same, in all facets of its geometry. Our very existence would be in vain, the fruits profane, if our sociality were bonded together, there would be no pleasure. Lucifer's plan for Salvation was fettered assignment, the singleness of being, in heart, soul, mind, and strength; the lake of fire. Eashoa's plan was unfettered attainment, by faith, with the singleness of our heart, soul, mind, and strength; rivers of living waters. If the Son were never to have laid Himself down and hung upon the cross; the fallen would have been lost forever. The Atonement is the Son's, and He didn't have to share it with anyone. The beauty in all of this is that it is given freely, with a choice to bear it also. Even in all Glory, there is Agency, from the least to the greatest, His Divine collage--exaltation doesn't suddenly halt this Agency and fetter any that dwell thereby, that which is diverse therein is good. The most damning thing about man, as the Son appears in the Latter Days--what unwavering faith can be found? The Ambassadors of Peace decry their charge and so they weep bitterly. Their highways found barren, each man found mourning. The mighty are cut down; each man's fruits shaken and fallen; they lay in decay. The spirit of contention long ago piercing the skin. The loins girt about with a false covering. The feet shod with the symbols of foreign gods. And yet, who's will is it, that these are condemned to one Glory or the other? Who should say, "No friend of mine would love my enemy. And who thereof should go where I go? Lord, Lord, I am the same, so take me, but leave him who is at odds with me." That kind diversity is of a different nature than that which I profess. The sieved are set apart, to stand before the Council. The freed are grafted to a tree; for the evil was left recompense, to God. The good are right after His Heart; as one whole, indivisible, to walk with the Father, their steps once in discord having progressed to be found in harmonious accord. Love, T.J. Wood

  4. Heavenly diversity is a certainty; without it, all become party to a non sequitur, so much as to imply a plurality of gods [even in plurality, always under the Supreme Being] a singularity, even to imply all Creation as a singleton rather than a set of. Even in the Celestial glories, lest one has attained the Highest Glory, all experience diversity, outside of covetousness and/or vanity. Heavenly unity is also a certainty; found in our Salvation, through the Atonement, out of our faith, words, and works; righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. A sealed heritage, marriage, and parentage of each spirit is diverse, being brought eternal, rather than left temporal. The exceptional penalty being that few will never inherit any glory, nor inherit anything greater, wholly picked apart and cast out; these are the Sons of Perdition, those of whom are condemned one eternity to any other. [Note: whereas my usage of the term in plurality conveys that for which time is of no meaning, in any case after the moment of what was, is, or to be--a mystery of God.] Notwithstanding spiritual death, if the Father so Wills it of any man, in this time or any eternity of His choosing: all may find their inheritance to His choosing. Some things are shared, others are sacred; to each their own, all in submission to the Father. How each arrives therein [with what merit is of no matter, simply the hope of every Host] each truly does receive 100% of His inheritance, in the Highest Glory, those which are exalted then and forevermore. In closing, truly, each person's idea of heavenly unity, here, may yet be in accordance with one another's. However, we are speaking of heavenly things. To have the requisite wisdom and understanding thereof, that is to be perfected in Christ. Even if any of us were, now are, or will to be; the simple attainment thereof is the goal each strives to mark, by which the measure of is the Holy Ghost--no man's. Love, T.J. Wood P.S. I have added some additional Scripture below, which interpretations therein have been and can be numerous. These are some I find to be relevant, in this discussion. Feel free to offer your thoughts. If we aren't tearing each other down, I find there is no harm bearing testimony, edifying Christ, or reproving mistaken understanding of each other or one another's understanding of doctrine. Rather, to expand that last paragraph, it is doing so justly, that we may all come closer to the Father, His Son, the Holy Ghost, and all in submission thereunder. I have no plainer way to share what He has given me, so please accept my apologies if my posts are surreally drawn out. Romans 14:1-23* The kingdom of God embraces righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Ephesians 4:1-32* Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Doctrine and Covenants 130:1-23* And that same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there, only it will be coupled with eternal glory, which glory we do not now enjoy. Doctrine and Covenants 132:19-24* But if ye receive me in the world, then shall ye know me, and shall receive your exaltation; that where I am ye shall be also. Matthew 13:23* But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Matthew 25:14-30* And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Doctrine and Covenants 76:1-119*

  6. The Merciful Obtain Mercy - general-conference Biology and sexual orientation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia You touched upon something important. That is, there is insufficient research or revelation to definitively judge this. I'm not simply talking about person to person judgments. Without a concrete scientific answer, to whether or not one is genetically pre-disposed to homosexuality, that is largely why the U.S. Supreme Court doesn't want to touch this issue with a ten foot pole. Anyone that cares enough for their brothers and sisters, to realize that we all sin, just differently; they get it. They are wise to our Savior's teachings--they show mercy. Brother Uchtdorf speaks about judgment, with full agreement, even above reproach from the Godhead. Love, T.J. Wood
  7. The statement I made about two-toned chroma was concerning the first estate, about everyone being fully matured. I also believe we were all ready, before we made it here, just not the same, and it sounds we are in agreement in this regard, which isn't a necessity for me to love you [which I do], but a good thing nonetheless. Your analogy, about Police works well, concerning the first estate. Thankfully, the first estate is nothing like the drivers test I was given (.25mi and 5min) or His Law requiring re-evaluation, after N infractions, so to speak. Individual diversity in heaven, from the Lowest to the Highest Glory, it is prevalent, it is a good thing, it is like salting added to a bland dish. What we bind to here is bound to there, but it's not like I'm saying we take our Lexus SC400 with diamond chrome rims with us; I am however saying we take our vanity, while the temporal is just as it sounds. That statement, concerning wants and desires was more so concerning our relationships with the Godhead, each other, and what we do with our treasures (not that they're all differently gifted, just differently utilized; sharing their utility is good, just not that others necessarily have entirely the exact same utility). (Note: movie is rated R, however this speech is a good example of an unjust steward)The unjust steward is a great parable. You are correct, that an unjust steward holds to their position unrighteously. The steward was wasteful with what was entrusted to him by his master. Not only do they hold to their vanity, they also are inequitable, in their measure. For those like themselves, these stewards are generous. For those they account as being different, they withhold what was entrusted to them to give equally. Unjust stewards have diver's weights and diver's measure, differing weights and differing measures, false balances. When they make a sale, they say it is of no profit to them, yet after each parts company, they boast about their gain. Unjust stewards are like a missionary that only knocks on the doors of members of His Church, yet neglects to visit their unbelieving neighbors, who they were told by the first door their neighbors look like gang members; drunken, rowdy, unkempt, and vain. Such a steward is actually filthier than a bad neighbor, even encouraging them more so--they provoke our Father to anger. (PG-13)Having never been to the Celestial Kingdom, neither looking upon it, man looks to revelation thereof. Yet, mostly I am emphasizing that everlasting joy is not found in places like Pleasantville. Yes, anyone that achieves this Glory is willing to share all they have. It just isn't plain, it is full of vibrancy, yet never wholly isolated. Even then, it isn't to say that we can't enjoy our solitude, in the Highest Glory or any other. Our Father's gifts are just as you said, infinite, without limit [outside of His Law]. Each of us has a fidiciary duty, to one another. I really appreciate yours, as your fidelity is great. Thank you, Seminarysnoozer; let's spread that around. Love, T.J. Wood This land is your land This land is my land From California to the New York island; From the red wood forest to the Gulf Stream waters This land was made for you and Me. As I was walking that ribbon of highway, I saw above me that endless skyway: I saw below me that golden valley: This land was made for you and me. I've roamed and rambled and I followed my footsteps To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts; And all around me a voice was sounding: This land was made for you and me. When the sun came shining, and I was strolling, And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling, As the fog was lifting a voice was chanting: This land was made for you and me. As I went walking I saw a sign there And on the sign it said "No Trespassing." But on the other side it didn't say nothing, That side was made for you and me. In the shadow of the steeple I saw my people, By the relief office I seen my people; As they stood there hungry, I stood there asking Is this land made for you and me? Nobody living can ever stop me, As I go walking that freedom highway; Nobody living can ever make me turn back This land was made for you and me. (by Woody Guthrie)
  8. Thank you as well, and you're welcome. I was going to say that we're saying very similar things, the other day, but my backspace finger was itchy. I do agree with what you're saying about three year olds. Having a point of reference is important with any communication. With the Spirit, I do however find it to be a communication all believers are familiar with, yet would have a hard time formulating to each other in all cases. Love, T.J. Wood
  9. What skalenfehl says is correct. However, the statement of His becoming the Father can be confusing to some. It doesn't imply that He is the Father of Creation, as even the Son's Father is the same as any. There is nothing that precedes the Father. Without Him, nothing is possible. It is by Adam's transgression that death was known to man. By none alone, other than the Messiah, do any sinners find themselves returned to the Father. Without sin, we could be like Enoch and the city of Zion, being returned to the Father, sinless before the Him, which however many children so desire of this path, it is extremely rare. In order to be able to receive eternal life in His Glory, beyond a mortal existence, we are required by His Law to be perfect. Bearing the debts of sin, no man can be found capable of again standing before our Father in heaven and be free from the Law of Recompense. Knowing this contradiction, that sin carries the penalty of death, even as our Creator desires for all of his children to walk with Him again: those that willed to take upon the mortal were in agreement, in the pre-mortal, that the Son who is the Father of the Plan of Salvation, His covenant with the Father was acceptable to us. That covenant with His anointed Son, the only begotten in the flesh, the Father of this Plan, if he were to live a perfect life, to Atone for it being allowed to be taken from Him, the burden of man's debt could be carried by His Son's selfless sacrifice, being in His Son, found acceptable in the sight of our Father of Creation. By His covenant, given only for those that believe in the veiled flesh, through faithful humility, that they may in the name of His Son, the Father of eternal life, be allowed to be cleansed through Him, under the Atonement for His death, by our Father of Creation. Having lived a perfect and upright mortal life, never forgetting His Father and always in obedience--He prepared the path of perfection. Then, having brought divine light into this world submerged under depths so dark; that men might see what has been prepared; that they may carry this same light; that they may too be saved. That which was tilled, sown, and taken a good root within, growing by how each keeps their own, that is the seed Abinadi and other scriptures allude to. In our Savior, coming to wholesome fruition, our fruits may flavor, feed, and quench parched lips of those that would hunger and thirst for the same promises we held to. Taking this burden, as it is known, there is so much less to carry, than His Son's. By all means, those are children of the Christ, which all know: He Lives! Love, T.J. Seeking to Know God, Our Heavenly Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ - general-conference "I testify that the way to know the truth about God is through the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost, the third member of the Godhead, is a personage of spirit. His work is to “testify of [God]” 19 and to “teach [us] all things.” 20 However, we must be careful not to constrain His influence. When we do not do what is right or when our outlook is dominated by skepticism, cynicism, criticism, and irreverence toward others and their beliefs, the Spirit cannot be with us. We then act in a way that the prophets describe as the natural man. “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 21 This “natural man is an enemy to God, … and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, … and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, [and] full of love.”" Matthew 17:14-21 Mark 13:32-37 Luke 18:1-14 John 15:1-27 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. Doctrine and Covenants 76:19-24 Doctrine and Covenants 110:1-10 I am the first and the last; I am he who liveth, I am he who was slain; I am your advocate with the Father: Behold, your sins are forgiven you; you are clean before me; therefore, lift up your heads and rejoice. Let the hearts of your brethren rejoice, and let the hearts of all my people rejoice, who have, with their might, built this house to my name. For behold, I have accepted this house, and my name shall be here; and I will manifest myself to my people in mercy in this house. Proverbs 1:7-33 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. Mending Wall As a servant of those in need of faith, I write to you having been charged by our Father in heaven, with the delivery of a warning. Where once born like a child, eagerly accepting lowliness, now like an adult, the faith in His Son bears burdens intended. By way of suppression, in formative years past, a wall was formed and made strong. It was built tall and wide, spanning great lengths, in either direction. This barrier was built when it seemed as if without it, there could be no survival. Each side held onto an inverse monochromatic view of the other; both limiting love for another, covetous brothers, using division as cover. Evenhandedly, my Father does protest it's existence, in the slightest. Yet, it stands firm, displaying no uncertain loss of fidelity. Each is responsible, however much one does accuse the other. They both are accused, by the Host of heaven. His call is certain: the old Army marches with the Son, to tear down this wall. Of each color, His Son does wear. This march should not scare, the weight made so much lighter to bear. In-between where it stood; it is there those found faithful are found fair. In pair, no power of theirs, does he care. Like a wild mare, in equal measure, He will be found there.
  10. This topic is a particularly troubling one, from what I've seen. Some would say there is no correct answer. I will however say that there are some incorrect answers. In the Christ's teachings, we aren't taught to knock others' beliefs. Yet, it troubles me greatly, to see it done so often, explicitly and on a subliminal level. They are entitled to the way they feel is the right way, to live spiritually. It is the very core of our Agency. Those that believe in God shouldn't find it necessary to speak evil others that also believe likewise, albeit differently. To do so is a testament, that your faith is seeded precariously. More so than anything, He looks deep into our hearts. Most especially, for Latter Day Saints, this is something everyone should be sympathetic to. Religious persecution occurs in many different ways. Being well-versed in the effect of it should make us sensitive to how others believe. There are people that could be listening, when it occurs, and they don't hear the truth. They hear hate, fear, and lies; the 'power' of our adversaries, the anti-Godhead, that is even to say, the faithless. For as much power as He cast them out with; it isn't good for anyone that gives in to this deception. However, it is most clear, that one has, when all sorts of evil is spoken against those with opposing doctrines. In all eventuality, as much as some don't like to hear this, our Father even provides a way for other faiths or even a lack of faith, to know Him. This is a very important thing to realize, for members of The Church of Jesus [the] Christ of Latter Day Saints; this doctrine does not mimic the Nicolaitans. Rather, it speaks volumes about His grace for all mankind, that He loves His Children, not one fellowship or another. Instead, what should be said, concerning His Church, is that we are privileged to divine revelation to know His Word, as He has revealed it to us. Not that we may trample upon those that love Him likewise, however they have come to think of what we profess has, is, and will be restored, from the Godhead to our fellowship, which bears His Son's name. It simply isn't any man's place, to decide for what or how God does or will judge. My words, proceeding from our Father, they are part of an epistle: turn from any wicked wantonness within, as He assembles the Host, which marches on and tramples the wicked. Love, T.J. Wood The Love of God - Ensign Nov. 2009 - ensign "Heavenly Father’s love for His children is the core message of the plan of happiness, which plan is made active through the Atonement of Jesus Christ—the greatest expression of love the world has ever known. 16 How clearly the Savior spoke when He said that every other commandment hangs upon the principle of love. 17 If we do not neglect the great laws—if we truly learn to love our Heavenly Father and our fellowman with all our heart, soul, and mind—all else will fall into place. The divine love of God turns ordinary acts into extraordinary service. Divine love is the motive that transports simple words into sacred scripture. Divine love is the factor that transforms reluctant compliance with God’s commandments into blessed dedication and consecration. Love is the guiding light that illuminates the disciple’s path and fills our daily walk with life, meaning, and wonder. Love is the measure of our faith, the inspiration for our obedience, and the true altitude of our discipleship. Love is the way of the disciple. I testify that God is in His heaven. He lives. He knows and loves you. He is mindful of you. He hears your prayers and knows the desires of your heart. He is filled with infinite love for you. Let me conclude as I began, my dear brothers and sisters: what attribute should define us as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? Let us be known as a people who love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and who love our neighbor as ourselves. When we understand and practice these two great commandments in our families, in our wards and branches, in our nations, and in our daily lives, we will begin to understand what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus the Christ. Of this I testify in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen." - President Dieter Friedrich Uchtdorf
  11. Even for the angels, it certainly does not. It introduces contention where it does not have a place. It's not exactly like, but kind of like saying, "My dad can beat up your dad." Then hearing a retort such as, "Oh yeah? Well my dad has a bazooka!" Finally, after all the dust clears, both find out they have the same father. Listen closely, what does matter is the realization that there is one true God. That He so loved the world, that He sent His only begotten Son. That those that would believe on Him will be given everlasting life and not suffer spiritual death [outer darkness]. Even knowing of a generation of gods, it in no part lends credibility to the paradoxical idea that the Father of our fathers once was, yet now has passed on His torch. He lives: just as His Son, even before there was, that now is: He lived. Obfuscation is a fickle beast. On one hand, it leaves mystery. On the other, it gives incentive, to become closer to Him. Accepting the origin of our Father in heaven has absolute zero value, concerning our return to Him. In fact, even if I were to say the completeness of Truth, concerning this matter--it would be disputed until Kingdom Come. All sides would demand evidence, no matter their worthiness or faithfulness. To even say it, would be to tempt all to such a poor show of faith; it would be shameful and bring others to shame His gospel is not about condemnation, contention, nor is it about origins unknown, without His revelation, even as it is yet to be fully and plainly spoken, in terms everyone can agree upon. Love, T.J. Wood
  12. If we were all the same, monochromatic comparison would be a gradient of black and white. We all come from different walks of life, before our time here and even afterwards. This is a beautiful thing. Even when a child leaves, before the age of eight, or for some before they are accountable before our Father (such as those with certain disabilities), they are offered opportunities many were already part of. This path is sacred, even the prophets haven't been given the fullness thereof. For a Bishop, there is a strict standard. A Bishop or any other leader that falls wayward can do more harm than any drug dealer or prostitute could ever do. For this standard, many are fearful of being called for leadership, even if the rewards are great. Nothing is fully revealed to man, concerning paradisiacal glory. Had this occurred, the Law of Agency would be jeopardized. However, there is a certainty that I will share with you: the only thing that makes man equal is faith. Being faithful, know that what is promised to one is also to others. To think one lot in this Kingdom is better than another, that is a fallacy. Attainment of Celestial Glory is to be pure of heart, end of story, so to speak. However, one man's trash is another man's treasure. One mindedness, concerning the gospel, doesn't necessarily mean that our wants and desires are also simply one; when it comes to heavenly things. Individual diversity is a strength therein. With it, new frontiers are forged. Even though contention is not allowed within, there isn't the requirement that everyone has to be an exact copy of the other. Neither does there need to be exact copies of accomplishment. What man can judge as He judges or for how He ultimately does so? Those that place their position greater than another's, so will they be surely inverted, in heaven. A false imbalance is an abomination, before God; diver's weights and diver's measures, that is to say, differing weights and differing measures. Progression is sacred, to each their own. Our Father does not respect inequity. For Him, we all are His Children. Even when one is judged worthy of the highest glory and another is not; it doesn't change the baseline, they are loved the same. It doesn't even mean that the lower glory is so forever and ever, from this eternity to another. Heavenly things are hardly fathomable, before simple things have yet to be milked and drawn from the breasts. Love, T.J. Wood
  13. Speaking of corruption as moral depravity, that is wicked at best and at worst evil. Not simply because I would state it. As mutually agreed upon terms, their definitions are similes for some and a facsimile for others, concerning one another. A corrupt message deceives the recipient(s). Some in these days find hopes and wishes to be the same--they are not. Wishes are seated in fables and old wives-tales, such as the genie in a bottle. Hopes are seated with our Father, for whose name none could contain or contend--not a strong man, sorcerer, an army on this earth, nor any spirit(s) within all of the heavens. His messages offer hope, which is looking forward to His promises. They strengthen the faith of even one or many, as He is our Strong Deliverer; from sin and also of His messages, of which they are both binding to our covenants, that we would feed our needs with His Word. I am speaking about the message, as it is intended: proceeding from the fount of every blessing, wherewith His Love pours most charitably on men, like stones under rushing water. The darkness that is seen, through the glass, it is from the mix of good and bad that we roll with, through the progression of mortality, for each with varying mixtures that becomes accumulated with both extremes. Even when He is filled with wrath, His messages are always delivered, as He intended. Our Father purposes that a message is given, to be pure, as He is perfect; never failing. After it has been received, the message itself is still clearly received as it was intended. A person or group's denial or manipulation of that message is beholden to the seat of corruption. Yet, it isn't that His message was ever imperfect, in and of itself, nor are His messengers lacking anything spiritual necessary, that the recipient(s) do not heed. Most confounding, for so many, is that He already knows what decisions will be made, what paths we take. Not everyone would agree with me on that, however, His power is absolute, even knowing beyond an eternity: the moment of what is; He is the paradoxical other; the Great I AM. His grace is also oft misstated, that it is within any man's dictation, for what it should or shouldn't be. So foreign is it, to the mortal, that there aren't words strong enough to describe Him or His Love for us, that we may find Him so giving. None of this journey is ever only a carnal matter, that which is of the flesh. In all ways, its purpose is both temporal and spiritual; it is eternal. For all intents and purposes, in wrath or in grace, He has one overwhelming message, "Return to Me, the Father of all Creation. Prepare for the Day. Be reconciled while in the mortal to avoid being sieved [plucked out] in the immortal. Doing so, so you may find perfection, even to walk again with the Most High, even to be as He is, perfect." Our choices aren't singular, in one or the other, they are one along with the other, co-dependent parts, temporal on spiritual and vice versa, both conjunct. In any case, our parts becoming whole wouldn't need be a transfiguration by Atonement, being resurrected by His Son, if we were free of all corruption. This is the dilemma of man, that corruption is not only born from the body, for in and of itself is but a vessel, a temple built by God, that our spirits are placed into, ultimately meant for a symbiosis, so that we may receive His messages and serve others having loosed. By this state of being, all of what makes us what we are can find itself given to corruption, even to temptations of man's adversaries, for which a believer has nothing in common with. It is a parasite that stress tests our whole being, picks apart the senses, and when given into deprives us of our reception of purity. It threatens both our inheritance of the next estate and our willing reunion with the first. Finally, however long-winded, even though among the exalted are few, if one is faithful beyond vain words alone, it is thereby we receive the promises of His Son, that all in acceptance receive everlasting life and more. To corrupt His messages, even the writs and decrees all believers are charged with spreading, that to be found without faith and up to blaspheme, for which your affiant further sayeth naught. 14. Someone doubting God is likewise doubting their fellow man's belief in God. You can't be forceful, in your approach. Let your faith be a guide. Show this man charity, which is love. Take an active interest, beyond a monthly Home Teaching visit. Being a friend in service to someone that is going through a 'dark night' as some like to call it can be more valuable than if you were to read a thousand Scriptures. Love, T.J. Wood
