“Relative Race,” a new reality show, premiered on BYUtv last weekend.

The competition requires the four teams to race from San Francisco, California, to New York City, New York, in 10 days as they try to find unknown relatives, complete challenges, and not get eliminated.

The team that finishes on top of the competition will win a $25,000 prize.

Dan J. Debenham, host of “Relative Race,” describes the show as a “hybrid of The Amazing Race and a genealogy search. It mixes the best of both worlds.”

The show, which premiered on February 28, will air weekly on BYUtv, Sundays at 6 pm. Watch the trailer for the show above.
