Video Montage Shows Church Leaders’ First Testimonies as an Apostle

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints created a video montage of Church leaders sharing their first testimonies as an apostle.

The video, posted to the Church’s official Facebook page, opens with President Thomas S. Monson, then a newly called apostle, sharing his testimony of Christ on October 4, 1963. From there, the video shows each apostle, in order of seniority within the quorum, down to the new apostles called this month, bearing his testimony.

“Apostles are called to be special witnesses of Jesus Christ,” the Church wrote on Facebook. “Hear the first testimonies of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve after being called to their sacred roles.”

Watch the video, posted above, to hear the Church’s humble leaders bear powerful witness of Christ.
